THE BUILDER
Saloomey Construction, Inc.is a strong regional builder, committed to quality. Its founder, Ziter Saloomey, has over 42 years construction experience and has personally built his business from the ground up, starting with commercial building and renovation, including historical rehab.
With the growing demand, Ziter began the development of exclusive custom built residential homes, including a $7,000,000, 15,000 square foot estate in Chesterfield, New Hampshire. With Saloomey’s offices located in the Berkshires, Ziter also has considerable experience with the second homeowners in the area, building and renovating many lake front properties. In addition, Saloomey Construction is the sole contractor of the American Inn Retirement Community in Southwick, MA where communication with the homeowners and consultants is vital. The great reputation and success of Saloomey Construction can be attributed to the incredible group of sub-contractors and architects that Saloomey has been working with over the years.
Saloomey Construction has significant experience in the planning and construction of age restricted housing. As the general contractor and owner of three local facilities, including: The American Inn, (Southwick, MA), The Gardens of Wilbraham, and Bear Hill Estates (Northampton, MA), Ziter is aware of what makes these projects successful.
THE DEVELOPER
Falcone Development was founded in 1998 and continues to operate as a fully integrated and self-managed commercial and residential real estate development company. Falcone Development is a family owned spin-off of Rocky’s Hardware, Inc., a local retail hardware chain that has had a presence in downtown Westfield for over twenty-five (25) years.
Falcone Development is managed by Jayson J. Falcone. Mr. Falcone received his B.A. in Economics from Tufts University and his J.D. from Suffolk University Law School. He has served in the lead role for a wide variety of development projects including the successful permitting, construction and lease-up of East Longmeadow Center Village, a 103,000 square foot upscale mixed-use project in East Longmeadow, Massachusetts.
